Premier League Covid-19 tests update

In the recent updates about the Premier League Covid-19 tests, the league announced on Monday that eight people had returned positive results in the latest round of tests carried out on players and staff last week.

The league also added that individuals who fall under this category would have to self isolate for a period of 10 days.

“The Premier League can today confirm that between Monday, 16 November and Sunday, 22 November, 1 530 players and club staff were tested for Covid-19,” the league said in a statement.

Rounding up the total number of positive results, total of 76 have been recorded in 12 rounds of testing this season.
