Cristiano Ronaldo was fouled in the penalty area but after the video assistant referee reviewed the situation, the referee stood with the initial call. We’ve seen situations like this when the penalties will be awarded with just little contact made. There was a huge contact in the penalty area against Cristiano Ronaldo but they rather saw it as a dive from the Portuguese forward.
